What is the power consumption on Conway heaters?
Conway uses PTC (positive temperature coefficient) type heaters. These are energy efficient as well as being very reliable.
There are two formats available, 12-36v and 110-230vac. Their power consumption is as follows -
12-36v
300mA (typical) with a 2A in-rush current*
110-230vac
300mA (typical) with a 1A in-rush current*
*The in-rush current typically will last for a few milliseconds when the heater is initially turned on.
What protocols do the Conway PTZ domes support?
The Heritage II, CD-601 and Titan domes all have protocol auto-detect to make set-up and installation easier. Currently these domes have Pelco P, Pelco D, BBV and Conway protocols built-in.
We are constantly adding new protocols and are happy to consider specific customer requests. Please contact our technical support department for up-to-date information.
Can Conway supply products in non-standard colours?
Conway can supply all of our products in colours to suit your applications. We have our own powder-coating facility and can paint products to suit environmental requirements or to match corporate identities.
The widest range of available colours come from the RAL colour pallet.
As a guideline colours from the primary spectrum tend to be the most expensive, where as greys, blacks and whites tend to be the most common and therefore most cost effective.
What is the standard warranty on Conway products?
Conway's normal warranty against manufacturing failure is 2-years. This will exclude certain items such as wiper blades, wiper arms, washer jets etc. Pan and tilts and domes have no scheduled service intervals although planned maintenance arrangements can be arranged to extend the working life of the product.
